| Barbara Stegall Barbara, a Rome native, is a Berry College graduate cum laude; the mother of three, and the grandmother of six. She has been an active Realtor since 1978; she became an Associate Broker in 1985. She is a nationally certified Landscape Design Consultant and an active participant in Rome’s First United Methodist Church Care Line. She is the Blue Star Memorial Marker Chairperson, Laurel District, and Garden Club of Georgia. She is a current member of Rome’s Development Code Board and has served for seven years. She is a past President of the Rome Federation of Garden Clubs, past President of the Rome Area Heritage Foundation, past president of the Georgia Landscape Design Council, Garden Club of Georgia. She was the first Chairperson of Rome’s Historic Review Board, serving eleven years. She received the Rome Junior Service League Sustaining Award in 1979. She served on the State Board of the Garden Club of Georgia for four years as State Chairperson, of Historic Preservation and the Blue Star Memorial Marker program. She has been a Star House Board member as well as the Salvation Army Advisory Board. She is a member of the Xavier Chapter, DAR, and the Rome Symphony Women’s Guild. |
